Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled each report card period. The following dates have been scheduled for this year:

  • October 9, 2009
  • December 18, 2009
  • March 5, 2010
  • May 7, 2010

If parents would like to schedule a parent-teacher conference, contact the teacher. In addition, each teacher develops their schedule for conferences using a sign-up sheet posted on or near the classroom door a few days before parent-teacher conference day. Parent-teacher conferences are on Scheduled Early Dismissal days. Dismissal for students is 11:55 am.

Progress reports and report cards are one vehicle teachers use to communicate about each student’s progress. The progress report is issued midway through each quarter and report cards are issued at the end of each quarter. This information can be used to help students understand how they are doing in various subjects. Parents should use this information to help their child continue their success or identify ways to improve.

Grade-level teachers outline the grading procedures for their students at the beginning of the year and then throughout the year when needed for specific assignments. Teachers provide information regarding grading procedures at the annual PTO sponsored Back-to-School Night.
